SUPERMARKET is a dynamic meeting place for Swedish and international art scenes; a great opportunity to meet colleagues and partake in new discussions.
2019 will be the fourth year of the Professional Networking Participants (PNP) programme. As an art professional you can apply for a PNP pass, which gives you access to all activities during the art fair, as well as to networking events designed exclusively for Professional Networking Participants. The purpose of the PNP is to create a meeting point for Swedish and international artist, curators and art operators in order to expand their networks beyond the exhibition space. PNPs don't exhibit but get invited to the Meetings programme, special seminars, Exhibitor gatherings and have access to the Exhibitors’ Lounge.
What can you expect from taking part as a PNP? You will have a special lounge staffed at all times by our volunteers, where you can leave your belongings and rest at any time during the fair. The lounge provides coffee, snacks and light beverages. Some of the programme events for PNPs take place in the lounge, some out and about in the art fair or outside.
Some of the previous years' programme items have been: walking tour around Stockholm's artist-run galleries, a sneak-peak of the art fair during the press preview, free pass to the VIP opening, guided tour around the art fair and meet & great with the exhibitors, 'speed dating sessions' - a fun way to meet other art professionals, fika with Supermarket staff, participation in Supermarket Talks and Meetings programme, art board game, pecha kucha presentations - short presentations of different artist-run initiatives, and many more.
