Superclub is an artist-run collective based in Edinburgh, Scotland. We are dedicated to providing a platform for supporting emerging Scottish artists and curators as well as providing a space for emerging international artists to present work to a Scottish audience for the first time.

Superclub began life as a studio space for recent graduates of Edinburgh College of Art in late 2010. Tired of paying high rates for more established spaces we were determined to find a space that could offer an affordable alternative for us and our peers. As our space developed we converted one of our spaces into a small gallery to exhibit work made in the studios as well as inviting outside artists to create exhibitions. The gallery is run by a committee of four individuals, all studio holders at Superclub, who plan, organise and curate each exhibition with the input of other studio members.

As our space has progressed we have developed a strong DIY ethos and a commitment to creating a diverse programme of not only exhibitions but gigs, performances, film screenings, book launches and a wide variety of other events. We have grown from a small studio space into a dynamic and exciting contemporary art venue while maintaining our DIY approach and artist-led practices.
