Konstverket/Taidevirasto is a non-profital artist-run association established in 2008 and consisting of 22 members in the region of Jakobstad, Finland.

We initiate and produce different kinds of artprojects, exhibitions, performances and interdisciplinary artevents. Our aim is to promote artistic collaborations and in 2010 we restored an old factoryspace into rentable studios and a showroom for professional artists. On regular basis we coordinate monthly exhibitions in a citycentre café. Our biggest production this far was the exhibition “Ö”, in witch we put 28 Ostrobothnian artists into new workingconstellations, dealing with community art and conceptual art. The exhibition was touring in Finland during 2010.
