SUPERMARKET 2007 took place in February 22-25 at Konstnärshuset (The Artists’ House), an old Art Deco palace in the centre of Stockholm.

SUPERMARKET is organised by SKF Umbrella *) in collaboration with a network of artist-run organisations in Stockholm. In 2006, the artist-run organisations in Stockholm arranged MINIMARKET, a small-scale art fair that was a spontaneous reaction to Market, the new art fair in Stockholm. It was at this point that the idea of a larger manifestation was born.

SUPERMARKET presents MEETINGS, a programme which allows participating artists and artists working as exhibition organisers, project managers and other art professionals to meet and discuss various issues surrounding their gallery and the wider art world.
This is a belated thank-you to all of you who made SUPERMARKET 2010 such a great event! I cannot express how wonderful it was to work with and be on the receiving end of so much hard and glorious...
